An 18th century cylindrical dovecot is incorporated in the 19th century stable block at Colstoun House.

This dovecot is 19ft in circumference and 41 1/2ft high to the top of the stone walls and 27ft to the top of the glover, which contains 18 entrance holes, in addition to 5 in the masonry. The walls, 2ft 4 ins thick, are crowned by a conical, slated roof, which has been renewed in recent years. There is one string course at a height of 8ft 6 ins. There are no windows. The dovecot, which has accommodation for 466 pigeons, contains a revolving ladder; it is now deserted.
