NT42NE 47 452 266.

The cropmarks of a rectangular enclosure, measuring approximately 35m by 30m, have been identified from aerial photographs on the edge of a terrace overlooking an un-named burn and Mote Linn, 170m N of Middlestead farmsteading. A sub-circular marking in the S corner may be a house, suggesting the enclosure is a settlement. Cropmarks of a large sub-rectangular enclosure have been recorded 160m to the WNW (NT42NW 29).
