An ivy-covered, 18th century, square dovecot, 11 1/2ft each way externally, 8 1/4ft internally. It is now a garden storehouse; 232 nesting places are still in situ, but many have been removed. Unusually, the timber and slate roof inclines to the N, and the entrances for the birds consist of 12 openings in 4 rows set in a window, cut askew in the angle of the S and W walls.

A N Robertson 1945; C J Smith 1978.
