An axe-hammer of metamorphosed greywacke from the fort on Denholm Hill is in Wilton Lodge Museum, Hawick (HAKMG 4098).

Museum Catalogue 1981.

This Class I axe-hammer has been petrologically attributed to group XXVIIm (thermally-metamorphosed greywacke with secondary biotite, from the Southern uplands of Scotland).
