This linear earthwork and pit-alignment have been recorded on oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 1981, 1982, 1984, 2005) lying close to the summit of Milkieston Hill about 200m NNW of Milkieston Rings (NT24NW 4). The earthwork lies on a slight slope and is flanked on its down slope side by closely spaced pits.
