NT16SE 2 188 609.

A stone, which stood in Cross Sward (Name: NT 1880 6092), is supposed to have been the pedestal of a cross. It was oblong measuring 3' x 2' 10" x 1' thick, and was sunk into the ground, with a 13" x 10" x 9" deep hole cut in its middle. It was removed by a farmer building a dyke some years ago (Name Book 1852).
