Aerial photography has revealed a number of linear cropmarks and pits to the W of Ayr Road near Westbank Holdings. They lie within a Roman temporary camp (NS94SW 7.02) which is one of a complex at Castledykes (see NS94SW 7.00). There is also an extensive field system to the E of Ayr Road (NS94SW 16).
