NS52SE 16.03 Centred NS 5888 2168 coal mine

(Location cited as NS 590 213). Lugar Ironworks and Village, rebuilt c. 1866 by the Eglinton Iron Company. The main part of the ironworks is by the site of modern National Coal Board workshops, but the laboratory block and another single-storey rubble building survive.
