A circular stone weight grooved stone weight was found 3' down in sandy soil during reconstruction work in August 1952 at a garage of William Lauder & Co., 20 Meadow Road, Partick (Photograph shows a smooth, flat stone, 4 1/2" in diameter, perforated as if for suspension, and with a 'cord' mark or groove, extending from the hole to the perimeter of the stone).
