The pond for Netherlee paper mill, 1782-1832 (Netherlee Print and Dye Works shown on OS 6-inch map, Renfrewshire, 1st ed. (1863), sheet xiii, centred NS 5811 5889), is still evident as an oval terrace. 'Old Dam' named on 1st ed map, at NS 5809 5879.
