Situated 70 yds NE of a disused croft named Spittal, just over a mile NNW of Dalmary. It consists of two contiguous saucer-shaped hollows which have been cut out of a ridge of conglomerate. Each hollow measures 6 ft in diameter across the top and about 1ft in depth, and represents the cavity from which a millstone has been removed.

RCAHMS 1963, visited 17 March 1958.
