This disused quarry, which is free of vegetation and is partly water-filled, is situated immediately W of a track that leads N to open moorland. Roughly oval on plan, the quarry measures 17m from N to S by 8m transversely and at least 1.3m in depth; the stone that have been extracted from it has been crushed and used to metal the track.
