Public worship was discontinued at Old Dailly, and a new church was built in 1690 at Milcavish, afterwards called New Dailly. The church was taken down in 1758 but was rebuilt by 1766.

NS 2704 0162. The church completed in 1766 is built on the site of the one erected in 1690. No trace of the former church exists.
