This limekiln, which is situated in scrubby woodland at the edge of a cultivated field 160m SSE of Lettoch, has been set into a steep, W-facing slope to a depth of 2m. The kiln has been reduced to little more than a stony spread, largely obscured by a dead tree, in which a hollow marks the position of the pot.

The kiln is not depicted on either the 1st or 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1874, sheet XLVIA; 1902, sheet XLVIA).

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 5 September 2006.
