A substantial rectangular structure was recorded here during a field survey of the Suisnish area of Raasay by ACFA, who have conducted surveys on the island every year since 1995. It is mainly of drystone, with some areas of mortared masonry. The building measures 11.2m x 3.9m internally and stands today to a maximum height of 2.2m, with walls 0.9m thick. The S wall has a single entrance, 0.8m wide, as well as two 0.5m wide windows. The stonework dressings of the door and windows is finely-cut and shaped. The interior has been divided into rooms and outside the building is a sub-circular enclosure, 7m x 5m.
