A double-celled shieling was recorded here during a field survey of the Suisnish area of Raasay by ACFA, who have conducted surveys on the island every year since 1995. The main cell or room is 1.8m x 1.6m, while the smaller one is 1.1m x 1.1m and has been abutted on the S section of the W end. The ruinous drystone walls only survive to a height of 0.3m and are around 0.6m thick.
