This feature, situated just to the W of Bridge 35 (NT07NE 46), is marked as a pier on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Linlithgowshire 1856, sheet 6) and as a landing stage on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Linlithgowshire 1897, sheet 6NW). It is not visible on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map or on the OS 1:10000 raster map (ND).
