(NO 6838 5601) The parish church built in 1791 on or near the site of its predecessor, which on record in the 12th century dedicated to the Virgin and known as St. Mary's of Old Montrose. St Mary's Well is in the immediate vicinity. A fine heraldic graveslab dating from about 1530 is preserved in the church vestry.

The heraldic graveslab, which bears the figure of a man in civilian dress, is now in Montrose Museum.
