Travellers on the canal were served by this inn at Crinan, situated to the NW of the Crinan Basin (NR79SE 37).

This inn is marked as such on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1874, sheet cxlix), then as the Crinan Hotel on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1900, sheet cxlixSW), and on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1979) and on the OS 1:10000 raster map (ND) as hotel.
