This disused quarry is situated on the summit of a low ridge about 60m E of the Lybster to Watten public road and immediately NW of the remains of a farmstead (ND24SE 36). Roughly oval on plan, the pit measures 5m from NW to SE by 4m transversely and 0.4m in depth. The N side is marked by spoil, but the remainder is defined by living rock.
