There are two cairns and a circle of 7 stones on a hill called Glenny Law, Abernyte. The cairns, according to tradition, were raised in consequence of a skirmish between the Grays of Fowlis and the Boyds of Pitkindie. The circle formerly possessed more stones, three or four of them having beeen removed not long ago. (Glenny Law is situated about one mile from Stockmuir (at NO 244 327)).
