A series of iron fence-posts were recorded here during a detailed archaeological survey of Strathmashie Community Forest near Laggan, Highland. The survey was carried out to assess the evidence for past human use and to ascertain whether there was enough archaeology to develop a heritage trail in the forest. The fence posts are 2m in height and run in a SE-NW direction. This appears to be the old forestry boundary noted on the 2nd edition OS map of 1903.
