In the field on the E side of the public road adjacent to Westertown Steading (19th century and unoccupied) there are the remains of a two-compartment building and enclosure. The building measures 9.1m from NW to SE by 5.4m transversely over turf-covered stone wall-footings 0.7m in thickness. At the edge of the same field (NO 1494 6157), but cut by the road, there are the turf-covered wall-footings of what may be another building (at least 9m from NNW to SSE by 4.7m transversely overall); to the SE (NO 1498 6153), there is an enclosure. In the neighbouring field, immediately to the S (NO 1499 6150), there are the wasted remains of what may be a rectangular building (8.3m from NW to SE by 4m transversely overall) with an enclosure on its SW side.
