NO16SW 109 1361 6148 and 1362 6150

Situated on gently-sloping ground 1km N of Glenkilrie house there are the remains of two huts which have been built at right-angles to the contour. The S hut (NO 1361 6148) measures 6.5m ENE-WSW by 4.2m over heather-covered stone wall-footings 1m thick and 0.3m high, and has an entrance in the SSE wall. The N hut (NO 1362 6150) (11m N of the first) measures 8m ENE-WSW by 4.9m over heather-covered wall-footings 1.1m thick, and there is an entrance at the ENE end of the SSE wall.
