This farmstead is situated on a narrow terrace on the N side of Allt an Lair 100m W of Wester Lair cottage. It comprises two buildings set at right angles to each other. The larger measures 14.6m from E to W by 4.6m over grass grown walls 0.7m thick; there is an outshot 6.3m in overall length at its E end. The interior of the building has two compartments but the easterly has been dug out. The second building lies opposite the westerly compartment and measures 7m by 4.6m over walls reduced to stony banks 1.2m in thickness by up to 0.3m in height. There is probably a small yard in the angle between the two buildings. Visited by RCAHMS (SH) 29 September 1988.
