This bridge carries the Clyde Expressway (which here forms the A814) across the River Kelvin, which here forms the boundary between the parishes of Govan (to the N) and Glasgow (to the S). It is the lowest bridge across the Kelvin, which joins the Clyde at NS 556 659.

The location cited for this structure (NS 55884 66206) is roughly central to the span, which extends from NS c. 55854 66236 to NS c. 55854 66194.
