It is roughly square in shape measuring about 40m across with an entrance in the NE corner. A series of linear cropmarks are visible immediately to the NW and SW of it. The cropmarks of an enclosure, a ring ditch and a possible enclosure have been recorded in the immediate area (NT77SW 22, NT77SW 54, NT77SW 71 ).
