This burnt mound is situated on a terrace on the N flank of Blackcraig Hill, overlooking the track that leads from Woodhill to Loch Charles. Crescentic on plan, it measures 7.5m from ENE to WSW by 5m transversely and up to 0.6m in height. The hollow in its open side measures 2.3m across the mouth by 2m transversely and faces on to a boggy stream-bed on the SSE. A boulder about 0.6m across protrudes from the mound on the NE side of the hollow, and a ruinous wall of relatively recent date overlies the W side of the mound.
