Situated in an area of permanent pasture about 600m NE of Croft na Coille Cottage, there are the remains of a farmstead comprising three buildings and an enclosure.

The farmstead is depicted on the first edition OS 6" map (1863, Sheet 41). The northernmost building (NO 0973 5759) measures 7.2m NNE-SSW by 3.7m within low ruined walls (up to 0.7m thick and 0.4m high) and has an entrance midway along the W side. The entrance leads on to a sunken cross-passage and in the SE corner there is a recessed extension, possibly a closet. At the SSW end there are what may be the footings of an outshot, or a small enclosure set between this and the second building; it measures 6.6m E-W by 5.6m internally.

Situated immediately to the S (NO 0973 5758), the second building measures 8.8m NW-SE by 3.8m within stone wall-footings measuring up to 0.85m in thickness and up to 1.1m in height. The entrance is probably situated midway along the severely-robbed SW wall and at the SE end there is an outshot measuring 3.8m NW-SE by 3.5m within low wall-footings (0.8m thick and 0.4m high); the entrance is at its SW corner.

The third building (NO 0974 5756) lies immediately S of the second. It probably has two compartments and measures 12.3m N-S by 2.2m within wall-footings 0.9m thick and 0.7m high; no entrances are visible. The E wall of the building has been incorporated into a later enclosure which measures 41m E-W by up to 2.4m in width transversely.
