The remains of three buildings are situated within undulating moorland some 600m SE of Pitcarmick Loch; on the date of visit the heather cover had been burnt off.
1. NO 0584 5588 Situated on top of a low knoll on the W side of a dry gully there are the remains of a three-compartment building measuring 11.5m E-W by 4.2m over rubble wall-footings up to 0.8m in thickness and 0.7m in height. The walls have been embanked with peat and turf and no entrances were noted. Internal features include well-preserved aumbries in the E end wall and the W partition wall, and attached to the N side of the building there is a small enclosure.
2. NO 0584 5589 Situated about 15m to the N of (1) there are the remains of a roughly oval structure measuring 9.3m NNW-SSE by 4.3m over a low, peat-covered bank 1m in thickness and 0.2m in height. The S end is rather more pointed than the rounded N end, and is set further downslope; there is an entrance in the E side.
3. NO 0585 5589 Situated close to the N side of (2) there is an irregularly-shaped, sub-circular structure measuring 5m NE-SW by 5.2m over a wall 0.8m in thickness and 0.4m in height. The entrance is on the E and in the NE corner there are the remains of a small pen.
