The position of the entrance is unclear but there is a slight gap in the SW corner. At the N end there are the footings of either a small pen or an outshot whose N wall has been eroded by the stream.

4. NO 0921 7070 This building measures 9.2m E-W by 4.4m over wall-footings up to 1.1m in thickness and 0.4m in height; a probable entrance is situated in the S side.

6. NO 0922 7071 This building measures 4.8m NW-SE by 4.6m over turf-covered wall-footings at least 0.5m in thickness and 0.3m in height; no entrance is visible.

7. NO 0922 7072 Situated adjacent to the burn, and partly eroded by it, there are the remains of a building measuring at least 6m N-S by up to 4.6m over turf-covered wall-footings up to 1m in thickness and 0.3m in height.

8. NO 0922 7073 Adjacent to the N side of (7) there are the remains of what may be an earlier building measuring 7m NW-SE by 4.2m over turf-covered wall-footings up to 0.9m in thickness and 0.3m in height. It has two compartments but no entrance is visible.

Immediately N there are the probable remains of a kiln measuring 5.2m in overall diameter and 1.2m in maximum height; external revetting is evident on the W, N and NE sides, and its flat top is about 2.6m across. Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 27 July 1987.
