Situated at the upper edge of present pasture, and set into a SW facing slope there are the robbed remains of a lime-kiln measuring 6.3m in overall diameter by 1.4m in height; the bowl measures 2.1m in diameter by 1.1m in depth. On the SW side it has been robbed down to the top of the flue. The kiln is depicted on the OS 1st edition (1863, Sheet 41) and marked as a lime-kiln.
