Air photographs show traces of a segmented ring-ditch, c. 8-9m in diameter within a ditch c. 1-1.5m in width.

Excavation prior to pan-busting proved this to be an enclosed cremation cemetery with severely damaged external pits, one of which produced urn sherds.
