The heavy iron stocks are at the foot of the Drummond Cross (NN82SE 11).
Name Book 1863
The location of the iron stocks is at NN 8648 2155. They consist of a heavy iron bar c 2.0m long supported at each end by U-shaped legs. Attached to the top of the bar are two heavy iron clamps each shaped to accommodate two limbs. A plaque states that the stocks were in use up to 1816.
