Two stone collars, large enough to fit a Shetland pony and carved in scrupulous imitation of a real collar (including its leather folds) 17 inches in length and 12 inches at their broadest part, are said to have been dug up near the Parallel Roads of Glenroy. In 1842 they were at Tonley House, Aberdeenshire (NJ 6113).

Maclagan (1875) states that they are Carribean, not Scottish. They formed part of the collection of James Byres Esq., of Tonley, who died in 1817.
