This disused quarry, which is situated in an area of rough pasture 150m SE of Mill Farm, is marked by a shallow excavation about 1m in depth in the E face of a low rise. The quarry, which measures about 19m from NW to SE by 8.3m transversely, is first depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xxix).
