A perforated, flat, circular, waterworn pebble (or whorl) measuring 2 5/8" [67mm] in diameter and 1 1/16" [27mm] thick, the hole countersunk and picked from both sides, found on the Island of Torsay, was donated to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) by Mr MacKay, postmaster, Cullipool (NM 73 13) (Accession no: AO 127).
