There is a sandstone axe from the 'Market Stance, Alford' in Marischal Museum, Aberdeen (ABDUA: 19868). The position of the market stance (NJ51NE 202) is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Aberdeenshire, 1869, sheet lxii).
