25 November 1864, ELIDA, 11 yrs old, schooner, 59 tons, 5 crew (supposed), departed Drontheim for Christiania [Oslo], in ballast (supposed), stranded, total loss, 5 lives lost, wind SE11, reef at entrance of Aithvoe, parish of Landwick, Shetland.

Lerwick, 3rd Dec. The ELLIDA, Holtz, of and for Christiania [Oslo], from Drontheim, drove on shore at Aith Voe, ten miles South of this port, on the 25th Nov., and instantly broke up: crew drowned.
