NM63SW 7 centred on 640 344

At NM 6418 3455 is a simple bowl and tunnel kiln, situated on Forestry Commission land. The associated farm buildings (8 shown, centred NM 640 344 on OS 1:10,000 map, 1975) were left unploughed. The remains of the ancient route through the glen passes through this fermtoun.

A township comprising seven unroofed buildings, one of which is a long building and another has an outshot, one enclosure and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Argyllshire, Island of Mull 1881, sheet lxxxiv). Eight unroofed buildings, one enclosure and a short length of head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
