This dam and related fittings maintain the level of the reservoir and control the supply of water to the compensation reservoir NS27SE 58.01.

The location assigned to this record defines the centre of the dam. The available map evidence indicates that it extends from NS c. 25125 72991 to NS c. 25447 72726.
