NJ96SW 18 9288 6312.

A circular mound called the Moat stood until '... a few years ago ... in the immediate vicinity of the church'.

New Statistical Account (NSA) 1845.

No circular mound named the Moat is known in the area, but at NJ 9288 6312 there is a natural turf-covered mound, 30.Om by 20.0m and 1.8m high, with a sunken track along its SE side, which may have been the mound in question.
