(Location cited as NJ 984 470). Mill of Aden. Founded 1789 for flax manufacture, rebuilt 1868 and subsequently extended. A 2-storey and attic rubble building housing plant for making woollen cloth, including two condensor sets, four mules and looms, driven by an all-iron, low-breast wheel 6ft 5 1/2 ins (1.95m) wide by 16ft (4.87m) diameter which was built in 1868 and fitted with metal spokes in 1912. Still in use and recently extended [J C Rennie & Co].
