A building was recorded at this site during an archaeological desktop survey for the Resolis Water Mains Renewal Project. The OS 1st edition map of 1880 depicts two buildings, on opposite sides of a road. The building on the S side of the road is marked as unroofed by the 2nd edition of 1907. A single, unroofed building is shown on the latest OS map. A building was not seen on the S side of the road on any aerial photographs studied, with only an area of rough ground visible.
