NJ90NW 103 9389 0842.

A well was uncovered during the construction of the Geography Department extension, Aberdeen University. It had an internal diameter of 1.00-1.50m and a surviving depth of 1.50m. The upper two or three courses were built of red brick but the lower courses were drystone. A broken grave slab was found in the well. The inscription read: HEER LYES T.... / OE HENRY KIL.../ BVRGES IN ABD-DE.../ OCTOBER. 1660 HIS AGE 96 / AND ELIZABETH ANDER/ ..ON ....SPOVS WHO/ ............ 1659
