NJ83NW 25 c.846 360.

A type Bb bronze flat axe found in 1891, 4 1/2ft below the surface at Collynie is in RMS (DA 91).

Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1926; J M Coles 1971.

(Flat axe of Aylesford type). Single find. Flat axe with raised edges, slightly corroded, yellow-green; length 112mm, butt 22mm, cutting edge 60mm, weight 165 gms. NMA (DA 91).
