NJ80SW 17 centred 8343 0066.
(Located at NJ 834 007). Culter Paper Mills. Founded 1751. The main range here is on an L plan, 3-storey and attic, 16- by 27-bay, with 2 Flemish gables on the longer frontage. There is a tall red-brick chimney. The large Musgrave tandem compound steam engine that was kept for years as a standby has been scrapped.

(Location cited as NJ 834 007). Culter Paper Mills remain in manufacturing use. Culter Burn was used as a source of rags; two colleges, schools and a flourishing printing industry justified the enterprise.
