House, built 1881 for William Keith, a granite merchant, to replace a modest 18th century predecessor and originally called Rubislaw House. Two-storey and attic with both Baronial and Victorian Gothic details. Large balustraded raised terrace with circular crenellated viewing point overlooking Rubislaw Den. Motto of Marischal College above elaborately-panelled door. Interior: central two-storey hall, arcaded and galleried at first floor level; imperial marble stair with elaborate cast-iron balustrade. Variety od period decoration in main rooms.
