The remains of a building were recorded at this location during a walkover survey at Stronlairig as part of an environmental assessment for a proposed hydro-electric scheme. The walkover survey revealed the remains of a concrete floored building, aligned N-S, 6.5 x 3.5m. It is marked on the 1992 OS map, but not the latest OS map or the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps.
