(Location cited as NH 847 237). Slochd Mhuic Viaduct, opened 1897 by the Highland Rly. A picturesquely-situated 8-span masonry viaduct with round-headed arches.

This viaduct was designed by Murdoch Paterson to carry the (Aviemore-Carr Bridge-Inverness) 'Direct' Line of the Highland Rly across the Allt Slochd Mhuic. It opened on 19 July 1897, and remains in use.

This viaduct is situated within dense forestry, and is depicted, but not noted, on the 1982 edition of the OS 1:10,000 map.

The location assigned to this record defines the midpoint of the structure. The available map evidence indicates that it extends from NH c. 84598 23788 to NH c. 84652 23776.
